Holy Cross High School Crusader Classic, Dunmore PA
On Sunday, June 2nd, the Holy Cross High School Track and Field and Cross Country Teams will sponsor a 5K Run at 8:30 a.m. The course will begin at Holy Cross H.S. at 501 E Drinker St in Dunmore with the finish line at The Guild Studios, 400 Wyoming Avenue, Scranton. Funds raised for the event are used to help purchase equipment and the offset the high cost of the Track & Field and Cross Country Programs. K.O.P.S. Keep Our Police Safe Event, Hazleton, PA
“Keep Our Police Safe Event” will benefit the City of Hazleton, West Hazleton, Sugarloaf and Butler Township police departments. The event will be held at Freedom Park in Butler Township and will consist of a 5K run (registration 7:30 a.m.), a 5K Walk (10:00a.m.) and a Kids Fun Run (9:00 a.m.). There will be live entertainment throughout the day, free outdoor cookout, tricky trays, police demonstrations and more.
