This is a redesign of the Cardinal Pools logo. Cardinal Pools is owned by Cardinal Systems, Inc., and the idea was to update the logo and have similarity to the parent comapny logo. This logo would be followed by other product line logos, Quaker Plastics and Sierra Outdoor Designs. All three logos were to look to be a part of the parent company and the "wave" was the tie in with all three. The wave was to represent water as all these product lines are a part of the swimming pool industry.
